Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons butter (softened)
- 1 egg
- ½ cup yogurt
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- ½ teaspoon salt
- Vegetable oil (for frying)
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, egg, yogurt, vinegar, and butter.
- Knead the dough until smooth, then let it rest for 15 minutes.
- Roll out the dough thinly and cut it into rectangular strips.
- Make a small slit in the center of each strip and pull one end through the slit to form the “angel wing” shape.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the cookies until golden brown.
- Place on paper towels to remove excess oil and dust generously with powdered sugar.
