  • 1 cup red lentils
  • 1 onion
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 6 cups hot water or broth
  • Salt, black pepper, cumin (optional)

Topping:

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp paprika or chili flakes

  1. Dice the onion and carrot.
